I came here with my son. The staff where top-class and attentive day and night. Loved extremely pleasant and well laid out double room with a double and single bed, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

Recently refurbished room with comfortable beds, facilities to make tea, a settee, and a carpet. Lovely and fantastic location, a 4-6 minute walk from a lakefront park. Set just next door to Southport for the Airshow which was brilliant, shops, theatre, rail travel and Formby beach in the very comfortable area.

The whole place was fairly clean and the staff were top-class and caring. I ate at a very nice restaurant especially at breakfast. The views across the sea were superb. The location was unbeatable, so close to old town. It was a particularly good area, a nice comfy base for me. Had a very enjoyable time.

We usually stay here for a weekend and the room is always freshly decorated and new-fashioned. Excellent and efficient staff as one would expect. The service is very efficient, includes free parking. Parking is not an issue, as it's on site. This hotel offers good and absolutely perfect location close to the restaurant booked at 1pm and the “ beach ”.
